Whether just starting a business, or that our business and take some time to market, our goal is always to attract customers to our business.
What you see below is a method to attract customers consists of three steps:
1. Create an attractive business
The first step to attract customers is to create an attractive business, i.e. a business that attracts attention, to create interest, attract customers, and that makes them decide to return.
There are many ways to create an attractive business, please find below the main ones:
* Provide a high quality product: to offer a high quality product is to offer a product that meets consumer needs but also exceed their expectations.
* To explore the distinction: seeking the differentiation means trying to be different from other competitors or offer something new and unique that others do not offer, and allow us to distinguish ourselves from them.
* Take advantage of competitive advantage: exploit competitive advantages means that we can take advantage of having before our competitors, and allow us to highlight or excel at them.
* Provide an added value: to offer added value to our products means giving more value through the addition of new features or services.
* Provide good customer service: to provide good customer service means providing good service, friendly staff, comfortable surroundings, personalized service, prompt attention, and so on.
* Have an attractive facade: having an attractive business facade means having a front with a well decorated, well lit, with a showcase that highlights the main products, with an entry that stimulates consumer income, etc.
* Offer sales promotions: offer sales promotions means offering incentives to promote the sale of products, such as special offers, discounts, coupons, giveaways, sweepstakes, contests, bonuses, etc..
2. To publicize our business and the elements that make it attractive
It is no good having an attractive business if nobody knows about our business and its attractiveness, so that the second step to attract customers is to make known our business to consumers, and highlight the main features that make it attractive.
To achieve this, we must make use of advertising. We must first clearly identify what our target audience which will target our advertising message. Then, based on the characteristics of our target audience, we will design an attractive advertisement specifying the main characteristics of our business or product, and determine the advertising media we use to getting our advertising message. And finally, we will launch our advertising campaign.
3. Make the customer come back and recommend us
The last step to attract customers is to ensure that the customer who visited us and bought our products or services decided to return and, if possible, we recommend to other consumers.
The way to do this is simply fulfilling the first step (assuming an attractive business), but giving special attention to have regard to a product or service of excellent quality as regards to providing good customer service.
Just offering a high quality product that meets needs, tastes and preferences, which exceeded expectations and that, in turn, is accompanied by excellent customer care or service, we get the customer back and they will probably speak well of us and recommend us.
